EU-MiCare Training

The EU-MiCare Training is the result of a collaborative process across several phases of the EU-MiCare project. Its content has been shaped by research, expert consultation, and input from professionals working in the field of migrant care. (You can explore the different project phases, reports, and results here.

The training was specifically designed to support professionals and volunteers who work with or care for migrants and refugees across Europe. The primary target groups of our training were psychologists, social workers, physicians, nurses, cultural mediators, interpreters, counsellors, caregivers, and all professionals or volunteers involved in supporting migrants and refugees.

We have developed four different courses (curricula) to better target the needs of these different categories. All courses focus on strengthening culturally sensitive approaches, understanding the interconnections between migration and mental health, and improving communication and collaboration in diverse work environments.
