Which is the attitude of health professionals toward mental health care for migrants and refugees in Europe? A qualitative systematic review attempted to answer this question.and

The analysis of 23 studies showed that “Despite the variation in healthcare professions, settings, and countries, similar challenges of delivering migrant mental healthcare were reported—associated with the migrant status, emotive reactions evoked by working with this group, and differences in culture.”

The conclusions of this review highlight, the relevance of some issues addressed for the #EUMiCare project, such as mental health-related training for physical health professionals as well as training for all professionals on how to work with interpreters.
